How do you choose a hotel in Jeddah?
- Umrah travellers: Jeddah is about an hour from Makkah by road. If you plan day trips to the Haram, stay near the Haramain station or the airport, or move to a hotel in Makkah for the nights of Umrah.
- Traffic: evening traffic on the Corniche and on King Abdulaziz Road can be slow. Pick your area by where you will spend most of your time, not only by the hotel.
- Season: prices rise in Ramadan, in the weeks around Hajj and during big events. The winter months, from November to March, are the most pleasant for the Corniche.
- Check the map: several hotels share similar names. Confirm the address and the district on Booking before you pay.
